Program Description

| Concerts |
Rio has concertized around the world to words of acclamation. He always leaves them standing when he departs from the stage. He performs both solo and with ensemble groups from duos to orchestras. |
| Clubs |
Rio provides jazz clubs with an entertaining evening for their customers. Additionally, Rio brings along his own following leading to greater sales for the club. He has played at many jazz clubs throughout the U.S., Europe and the West Indies. |
| Churches |
Rio has performed concerts as well as directed numerous choirs. He has also composed gospel music for congregations and soloists. Additionally, Rio is extremely comfortable playing for various church functions including weekly services, holiday services, weddings, funerals and baptisms. |
| Schools |
Rio has been music director of the Generations of Jazz program and Viva Latina Musica with Russ Moy. Both programs are tutorial in nature while providing entertainment. On numerous occassions he has performed for assemblies, classroom seminars and has given lectures on different jazz players, as well as composers. |
| Parties |
Rio plays for a wide array of celebrations, including but not limited to, anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, retirements and holidays. Rio has also performed for government officials in many capacities, as well as private functions on a state level and local level (Senators, Governors, Mayors, etc.). |
| Weddings |
Rio is always in demand to play for weddings. He has too many under his belt to even count. He tailors his participation to fill the needs of the parties involved. |
| Composer |
Rio has written and performed many of his own works on recordings. He loves to write espcially jazz and musicals. It is always a challenge to take a piece of raw material and bring it to life. |
| Jingles |
Rio greatly enjoys writing jingles for various organizations. He has a real feel for grasping the listener. He has composed jingles for Budweiser and other local businesses. |
| Teaching |
Rio has his own private studio where he resides when he is not on the road. He has students go on into the music field, for education and / or performing. |
